Jai Ho Review

Salman Khan movie Jai Ho.
Theatre: Liberty paradise Talasseri, Status: 50%, First show

On Story:

In this movie, Salman plays an 'Aadarshwadi'. He is a sensitive man who gets annoyed by the violence and insensitivities in the society. He often gets angry towards this social injustice and often gets thoughts about rest of the society on their ability to cope/tolerate this. He often gets depressed by the fear/pessimism installed in public minds by the violent people.

He believes that there is no need to be in a powerful position to do good things. He helps people generously and instead of receiving a 'simple' thanks mention in return, he asks them to help three other people and let them help another three instead of receiving 'thanks'.

As usual, his activism for common good and fight against violence reach to the usual purveyors of violence. The politicians, the people of power. He fights against them, he often becomes like a wild animal, he roars like a lion. Bites like a tiger.

And by the end, he wins his battle with his optimism. He could also create great hope in people who are afraid by anti-social bugs.

Opinion:

The story/screenplay is good. The 'Aadarshwadi' charecter played by Salman has great authority and originality. Its not a typical Aadashwadi character, we could feel the power of him on screen.

Salman, is in his usual form. The chick casted opposite is quite good looking and sexy. Performance of the rest of cast is nice. But its all about Salman, one man show.

Its a good watch, entertaining and inspirational. I liked this movie. It goes good with the current political atmosphere in India. The Aam Aadmi party and the revamped Gandhian influences in the society.

Rating 3/5 stars
Verdict: Blockbuster
